SADHANA IS YOUR DAILY SPIRITUAL PRACTICE. It is setting time aside each day for connection, self-realization through the practice of yoga. Ways to practice include yoga asana (postures), meditation, pranayama, (breath work), chanting (Bhakti)- 8 limbs of yoga. Find your sadhana camping in the desert at Aunt Woody’s Compound in magical Joshua Tree, California. Experience, explore and learn abut the 8 limbs of yoga with yoga asana classes, meditation and pranayama practices every morning and evening. Deep dive into yoga philosophy with Sandee Lawless during daily dharma talks that explore one of Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga each afternoon. Reconnect with yourself and create a personal practice to take home with you. Nourish your physical body with daily catered organic vegetarian meals.
Come build community and reconnect as you build your practice..one that will nurture you as you do this work off the mat. The retreat is appropriate for anyone-first-timers to folks who have been practicing a bit longer, as the practices will be customized to your needs. You will return home nourished, stronger and ready to step into your purpose.
Aunt Woody’s Compound is a rustic and beautiful location, perfect for connection and rejuvenation. Surrounded by desert mountains and boulders and beautiful expansive views. You can easily go on hikes on the many trails, go into town to experience the many art offerings or simply hang out by the on-site pool and soak up the sun.
